Tell me about your next exhibition. What works will be you showing?
I decided to unite several periods. The alleys of palm trees, which is the most recent work, was started in 2016, and is finished for the moment: the same landscape in different seasons, created in situ. I matched them with monotypes, embodying the logs that come from the trees of this landscape. And also using the Leporello sketchbooks, concertina sketchbooks, on which I worked in oil for several years beginning in 2010, on plants from the cactus family, Pachypodiums, and other succulents…

A. T. : Parle-moi de ta prochaine exposition. Quelles oeuvres vas-tu présenter ?
A. L. : J’ai décidé d’associer plusieurs périodes. Les allées de palmiers, qui est le travail le plus récent, commencé en août 2016 et terminé, pour l’instant : un même paysage, à différentes saisons, réalisé in situ. J’y associe des monotypes, réalisés à partir de bûches, issus d’arbres de ce même paysage. Et également des carnets Leporello, carnets à plis, sur lesquels j’ai travaillé à l’huile pendant plusieurs années à partir de 2010, sur des plantes de la famille des cactées, des pachypodium, et toutes sortes d’autres plantes succulentes…
